Golden Turmeric Latte with Coconut Milk and Coconut Oil.

To Make the Turmeric Paste:

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the turmeric powder and 1 cup of water.
  2. Cook until the mixture thickens and forms a dry paste, about 2–3 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in the Mementa's Organic Coconut Oil and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Set aside.

To Make the Latte:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the Mementa's Organic Coconut Milk, cinnamon stick, ginger, honey (if using), and 1 tablespoon of the turmeric paste. (Let the remaining turmeric paste cool completely, then store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.)
  2. Bring the mixture to a slow simmer over medium heat, allowing the ingredients to steep for about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, strain, and serve immediately.
